Trip Report Soon Come: Intros, Disclaimers and Warnings
Trip Report Soon Come: Intros, Disclaimers and Warnings
The Cast of Characters:
Flip-Flop - that's me, 30 something mom of two, wife of one, completely OCD about STJ. But I need no introduction!

Mr. Flip-Flop - my tolerant and easy going hubby who had so graciously (in a moment of beaten-down weakness after my 100th request and upon my finding FREE frequent flier tickets for this week online) given in to my obsession and agreed to this trip. Our 5th since 2001, and our 2nd in less than 1 year. I like the pace at which we are accelerating.
Yes, we are every bit as goofy as we look!
Mini Flip-Flop - STJ veteran making her 3rd trip to St. John. Her first being at 3 years old. My beach buddy in crime. This is her losing her mind at 5:45 am at the airport. She's a great kid, but you can't fight the goofy in this family. You have to accept it and roll with it!

Baby Flop - Maybe we should call him Belly Flop and you'll see why when you get to the belly shot (not the drunken binge party kind ... see the picture for the visual). The Baby boy was making his 2nd trip in less than 2 years of life. What a spoiled little child! He has no cause for that frown! (Ok, other than possibly the fact that this picture will SURELY be used against him in the future and that his rash guard was a wee bit too snug! We invested in a larger rash guard for him later in the week).

DISCLAIMER: I apologize in advance to anyone who is offended by the long windedness of my trip report or the gratuitous family shots or my imperfect use of the English language or the lack of comma usage. A large part of my professional life does involve writing and communication, but this is not a professional report and is not intended to be judged as such. It has not been proofread or vetted. It's my trip report and I'll be as long winded as I want. There is this MAGIC internet trick, its called DO NOT CLICK. If you are uninterested, why are you still reading?
For those of you that are interested, enjoy & thanks for all of your support of this hopelessly addicted STJ fan. I very much hope you get a laugh out of our fairly uneventful week!
