Thanks for that link Sherban - I posted it on the hurricane blog also -

My friend in the TCI told me that yesterday was no big deal, but I have yet to hear back from her now 24 hours later as the storm seemed to just sit there and grow and grow. Not looking too good right now for that area.

I have been reading their blog since almost the beginning. I love his postings on the little island life things.

Because of him, I have the Meridian Club on my "to go" list. Like I need another on my list!

I don't know - I am not really that familiar with that blog - first time I saw it was when Sherban flagged it above.

Ksea- I've been reading their blog since sherban posted it (very interesting BTW, thanks sherban!), and it doesn't seem to be the same people. I think it said in the "about us" section at the lodge, that the owners have three small children.

The "Gringo's" seem to be a couple with grown children (not living there with them), and a funny little dog!

Yeah, I think the TCIs got hammered by Hanna the past 24 hours...I don't think they were prepared for this.

The two Gringos seem like cool people...their blog is fun...I think they are going to have another rough night from what I can tell.

The Carib storm web site has some updates from TCI today...

I actually saw Gringo at the airport, which is about the size of the Starfish Market, in June and it felt like a celebrity spotting. I didn't approach him because I would have felt weird.

Those guys are still getting hit...hard. Hanna is gaining in strength and is rebuilding herself right over them.

Cass/Anthony/PA Girl;

The owners of Bottle Creek Lodge are clients of mine but I rarely see them. They come back to VA a couple of times a year. I thought I remembered that they had little kids...but I wasn't sure. They are really nice folks...and their story sounds similar to the 2Gringos. Thanks for the info!

Yes, because beleive it or not, if it's cold here, which it's NOT right now, the storms brings hot wind and rain.
