Dave-a-roni's trip report, part 4 (Day 7)
Dave, loving your trip reports. We enjoyed feeding the birds, too. Your in-flight shot is great.

Either that, or Glenn's going to be in for a big surprise.hugo wrote:Glenn and Radha are still married, and own Caravan together. She was maybe referring to a previous husband.Teresa_Rae wrote:[

Did he used to be married to the owner of Caravan Gallery? Or are they still married? Radha said something about her ex-husband when I was there in June, but I also seem to remember her saying that her husband (or ex maybe) designed Mongoose Junction.

Teresa_Rae,
"I asked if I could give him a donation and he told me that I could go to the Animal Care Center and make a donation. So I did just that and now I’m a member of the STJ ACC"
That's awesome Teresa! Your pictures didn't come through, atleast not on my computer
But anyway,
I have another picture of Woofer, his bad side (right). Sorry for those of you who may be grossed out. But he's such a sweet cat.

We did the same thing Teresa where it was hard to walk away from Woofer, he looks so bad! I'm such an animal lover.
I have recently been in email contact with Radha Speer (yes it seems they are still married) to find out the other names of the Annaberg cats. There's Woofer, Skeeter and Black Cat.
Here's an portion of an email she sent to me regarding the cats:
" It was very kind of you to be concerned about Woofer. It hurts me every day when I see what he lives with, but we have had little success helping him recover. Steroids gave him some improvement, but he began not eating the food that had them in it, and we don't know what else we can do for him. You know, he has had this condition for years, and it really seems that the nerves are not so active any more - he will rub against our leg and hand with raw open sores, and I am sure it is't painful. At least I hope not."
Robin in NC,
Dave, you and I are so completely different in what we like to do on St. John. So there's, like, nature and stuff away from the beaches. Huh. Who knew?
You crack me up... Hey don't get me wrong, I LOVE the beaches, that's what I came for!
But I take any chance I can get to take a walk if the rest of my group decides to go shopping or something... I can do that at home or on the internet, but you can't experience a walk any other way than to be there
(And take your camera!) I'm sure some may say that that would apply to shopping too, but what do I know

We have two 52oz mugs. They really do keep things cold all day. I bought them especially for St John after someone on this forum talked about them.

When will I see St John again?
And just when I thought I could stop buy stuff mentioned on the forum!mrsb wrote:http://www.getyourbubbakeg.com
