No More "Barkers" in Dowtnown CA

Apparently folks have had enough of the storefront "barkers" in downtown CA and as of August 1 they will have to find other gainful employment...

I have mixed feelings about this since jobs are tough to come by on island, but I have to admit that I'll be able to walk by Little Switzerland again without someone from Blackbeards (or is it bluebeards) castle time share harrassing me.

I had noticed a growth in this "industry" over the past several years so it sounds like too many apples spoiled the bunch.

Just would like to know how they plan to enforce this new law and whats the punishment. That will be the true test if this law works or fails.

Based on what I've read about the VIPD already today on this board, I am guessing the street barkers are not shaking in their shoes...
