I thought Sweet Plantains had a web site but now I can't find it. Anyone know if they are open for lunch?

marybeth - they are not open for lunch. When I called and spoke to Rose to make reservations for Christmas Eve, I mentioned that we would probably stop in one day for Lunch beforehand because we just couldn't wait to eat there. She told me then that they are only open for dinner. Sorry! :)

Good morning Mary Beth,

As Coden said they are not open for lunch and they are closed on Tuesday evening (I think.) Last year (2006) they closed for about 4-6 weeks and reopened the weekend after Thanksgiving. I would call them or just post closer to the date you will be here and I will know when they will be gone.

Thanks Pia, we arrive day after Thanksgiving so maybe we will luck out!

With a few excpetions we don't plan to repeat any restaurants this year. Since a number of things were closed when we went in '06, we have many places we still want to try (would repeat LaTapa and Asolare).
