Tickets are booked!!

I had been counting the days until I could book our tickets on Delta using my Skymiles. You have to wait 331 days (Mary Beth - I feel your pain!!). June 26 was the magic date so at 12:01 I called Delta. Provided the dates, etc. When he asked me which seat I preferred I told him it didn't really matter as long as we were sitting together. All I could hear was silence for 10 seconds - he said you mean there are two of you? Sorry, there was only one seat!!! Did I really forget to mention that my husband was going and that we were celebrating our 25th anniversary??? Long story short, at 1:00 am I went to bed with two business class seats booked to St. John for the exact dates we wanted!!! I had to use 120,000 Skymiles but I am so thanksful because if I had to pay for the tickets they would have been $871 each!!!

I woke up this morning feeling so relieved that we have a villa AND our tickets booked for next May.

It's amazing how much better you feel to have flights and villa choice all nailed down. Now the hardest part is the wait!
