Hi all, my name is Tom and I'm a lurker, well I was, but thanks to Jorge and his past reports which are a total riot I've come out of lurkness and decieded to join in.
My wife Lisa & I along with our friends from Colorado were in St John last year for 12 days and what a fantastic time we had. We are all counting the days until we return this Febuary,and as with others, this forum helps in a way keep in touch with the island and get us through the gloomy weather here in Michigan. So hello again and I'm sure this won't be the last time I chime in...

Hey Bill, the four of us hit land in the morning on the 24th of Feb. Don't worry, I'll be waving like a Mo-Fo as will our friends from Denver, their up to their arse in snow right now. I'm thinking about starting packing today, we can't wait, counting the days!

welcome to the forum. Though not a regular poster (not enough experience!), I found these loyal forumites to be the most amazing resouce while we were planning our recent trip to St. John. Even though we returned a week ago, and I finished the epic that was my trip report a couple of days ago, I return daily to follow the "exploits" of Jorge and crew and all the rest of the regular posters. I think I've become an addict!!

It is easy to get addicted to this site. I have been here since the beginning and on the old forum since 2000. It is crazy how it is the first site I check in the morning and the last before I go to bed. Especially when Jorge is on-island

Hi Mary Beth, Novi is only 15 min. away, lots of traffic and getting worse but nice area.
We will be at Villa Capiz through Carefree. First night is at Gallows due to a little mix-up with our reservation but Cindy at Carefree made everything right so we can't complain, after all we'll be in St John eaither way!!! Beats the heck out of where we are right now...

Water Guy, I mean Tom, Well due to the fact I'm not independently wealthy and the Auto companys (if you can call them that) are in Troll land well you guessed it, troll. We do get north every chance we get though, love to RV up there in the summer.
5 days, wow, are you sleeping at night. Have a good time, that won't be hard to do...
