Getting from car rental lot to ferry

Post by neisy »

This is for anyone that has used St.John car rental or for anyone really.

I have been told that we have to drop off our rental cars at the lot and then go to the ferry docks. This is new for us because on our trips to Virgin Gorda and Tortolla, we have left the cars at the ferry docks and then just board the ferry.

My question is what is the best way for 8 adults with luggage to get from the lot at St. John car rental to the ferry dock?

Thanks!

Best way, drop the luggage and people at the ferry dock and one person can return the car to the rental agency and walk back to the dock.

Have a good day.

Sounds like a good idea. How far is it to the ferry docks from St. John's lot?

Looking at the map on their website, it can't be much more than a couple of blocks to their new lot.

26 days and counting.

Have a good day.

It is a short (approx. 100 yard) walk down hill and hang a left and you are at the ferry dock. They will also let you leave your luggage there if you want to walk around to do some last minute shoping.

Just be careful where you park to drop folks off - it is not in front of St. John Spice behind the "do not enter" sign

No where in Cruz Bay is far from the Ferry dock.
