Kids! I say we take matters into our own hands and peition Richard Branson to get Virgin America to establish a route to STT from either DC, Miami or NYC.
He owns Necker island in the vicinity (BVI) already.
I personally would pledge to fly them forever!!
Virgin Atlantic Airways is AWESOME. Such a FUN airline. I hear Virgin America is just as cool.
Fantastic Idea- we need to have your people call his people to form a commitee to schedule a teleconference to schedule a meeting (preferably on Necker!) - Virgin to London is awesome With the prices the way they are now to STT, I have to think you could undercut them and still make money
YES, A great idea! We flew Virgin Atlantic last year to London. It was wonderful! Have yet to fly Virgin America but have high hopes it is as nice. I was looking at airfares to STT today and see how much more it will cost me....yeash!
I'm flying Virgin America to San Francisco next weekend. I mentioned this same topic on the forum once before and someone said that Sir Richard probably applied for the "route" (?? not sure that's what it is) a few years ago and is probably still waiting for approval.
Agree. On our way to the BVI's, we flew Virgin Atlantic from London to JFK last month, and they were great. My suggestion would also be for him to start a nonstop operation between London and STT. That would make life much easier for me
Gromit, This is a very bad idea. We don't want to make it easier or more pleasant to get to STJ - we want to keep the masses away! This could only encourage more people to visit. Bad. Very, very bad.
