STJ restaurants with AC?

Post by liamsaunt »

I am trying to think of which STJ restaurants have AC, and am only coming up with Paradiso. Can anyone think of any others? Ideally, it would be kind of nice--I'm trying to think of a place for our 10th anniversary dinner, and my parents will be joining us. My Dad has a medical condition that makes him most comfortable if AC is available when he's indoors. Not the end of the world, really, but AC is ideal.

Thanks for any help!

Panini has an air conditioned room. Perhaps Chloe & Bernard's at the Westin?

The Fish Trap restaurant and the Stone Terrace Restaurant both have air-conditioning.

Thanks for all the great suggestions so far, everyone! I had completely forgotten about Chloe and Bernards (never been there), and I've always wanted to try Cafe Roma too. I like Panini Beach and Stone Terrace a lot, but I think we'll go there after they head home so we can sit outside on the rail.

Fish Trap only has ac in the bar area and it is usually freezing but not the nicest place to sit.

Really? I don't remember that. I remember the front of it being open to the street, and the back room being open to the front area. If I am recalling wrong, please let me know, because that place is my favorite and would definitely be my first choice, as long as I don't have to worry about my Dad being too warm. Thanks!

liamsaunt,
I am almost positive that the room we had dinner in did have AC....but I may be wrong :? I remember walking into the bar area and being seated in the room to the right of it....off of that room was a porch type dining room. We had our choice of any table because it was September...the night before they closed for the season. There was only one other group in the restaurant and they were seated out on the porch. If my memory serves me correctly, we chose a table inside because of the AC....normally I would have opted for the al fresco dining...but it was extremely hot and humid that night. I apologize if I am giving you incorrect info....you may want to call just to be sure.
I don't know if you have eaten there since Ted left; I know there was much speculation about Tage under new management. We all loved it and would have gone back a second time if they hadn't closed for the season.....mia
