I need advice for a NICE hotel in the Palm Beach area. Looking to stay only one night with hubby. Also, what's Jupiter Beach like?
Thanks.

Not in Florida but have stayed at The Breakers in West Palm Beach - loved it but it dependes what you like as well - it can be alittle "stuffy" maybe for some :)

Hey Jamestown,

Sorry I can't help you out here, cuz I'm on the Gulf coast. Maybe Augie will check in with ya as I believe he's over on that side a lil' North of Palm Beach.

Only thing I know about Jupiter is Burt Reynolds lives there and I believe has a restaurant in town.

Have fun! Check out the Sarasota area sometime we have beautiful Siesta Key and Longboat Key!

Hi there,
Mr B's parents live in Jupiter. It's a nice town and Jupiter beach, when we have been there is nice and uncrowded. Good and lesser price places to eat are the Lazy Loggerhead cafe for breakfast and TooJays Gourmet Deli for lunch. TooJays has really big sandwiches but their cole slaw is dry :)
Can't say about the hotels as we always stay with his parents when we visit.

When will I see St John again?

HI,

I stayed at the Brazilian Court several years ago. It's a small boutique hotel near Worth Avenue (not right on the beach).

In addition to The Breakers Resort, there is a Four Seasons Resort in Palm Beach. There is also a Ritz Carlton on A1A in Manalapan (just south of Palm Beach).

All of these are 15 - 20 minutes from the Airport - west on Southern Ave.

There's a nice 18-hole par 3 golf course on A1A; plays along the ocean and the intracoastal.
