Hi from Sorrento,
We are on a short family vacation with the family on Italy's St. John and St. Thomas - the Amalfi coast. The kids can't get over the scenery and keep saying things like "This is just like St. Thomas!!" over and over again. Cactus, bougainvillea, clear turquoise (but COLD!) water, etc. It is really beautiful but very crowded on what is a big holiday here - May Day.
Anyway - I just did all the travel calendar updates. My access is limited here so please bear with me.
Thanks -

Anthony~
Have a wonderful time!
We took a shore excursion from Sorrento to Amalfi back in '98. The coast road is so beautiful, but narrow, we were stuck on it for hours due to an accident. We sure got a long look at Positano! Only had time for lunch and a little visit to Amalfi.
Then we went over the mountains to go back to Sorrento from the direction of Naples but there was a land slide over the road so we had to take the train from Pompeii to Sorrento, along with what seemed like 100,000 commuters. The gentleman next to me was kind enough to tell me to change trains somewhere enroute.
What a beautiful area. Wish we could have stayed longer!
