I was just thinking about all of our forum friends who live in VA when I saw that on the news this morning. I hope that everyone is OK.
People are still cleaning up here from the ones we had in Jan.

I'm in central Virginia and we escaped the destruction here. It is so sad to watch the news and the families that have lost so much. It makes you count your blessings and say a little prayer for the ones affected.

I'm in Central Va, too and we escaped it as well. I have a friend in the Suffolk area that I am trying to get in touch with to be sure her and her family are ok, but haven't been able to get in touch with her yet. I, too, am thinking and praying for everyone that was in the path of these tornados.

Mike & I faired fine at our house and all our local friends and family are safe with no damage. Mike is going to check on an empty rental house later that is located about 10 miles from one of the tornados. Should be okay, but you never know about roofs. Better to be safe than sorry!

Here's a link to a video from our local tv station.

I was watching the news getting ready for work this morning and the first thing that popped into my head was all our VA VIOL'ers. Hope all is well with everyone! Very frightening!!!

Hey cliffnchristi - try text messaging - after Katrina non of our cell calls would not go through but for some reason text messages worked and people were finally able to start finding each other. Good luck!

I feel for all of those people that lost everything, everyone is in my prayers. Glad to hear that you guys are okay.
