New Year's Day Dinner's in the oven, the STJ Spice cap is on
and I guess I should be working on finishing that trip report...
Last night we hit a great party. I got to be the designated driver. So, beers to me today. I'm braising a pork roast with some south asian attitude, with a separate cabbage/onion braise working. Curried black-eyed peas go on about 5:30.
That gives me 30 minutes of writing time free. Ya patr, trying to mix some life with the obsession... and life is good.

Ya Betty, I used to get skinny for the trips. I even managed to get down about 10 pounds this year. But, I'm turning 44 in two weeks.
