Do you recognize this STJ villa?

Post by Teresa_Rae »

Over my lunch break today I was perusing STJ pictures online and came across the villa pictured below. I know I've seen it online before but I just can't place it.

Anybody know what villa this is?

It's not Golden Dragon. We stayed there and Golden Dragon's pool comes right up to the edge of the cliff...there's no room for the furniture as shown in the photo.

I thought I recognized this house too, but when I went to the house I was thinking of (Casa de Sonodores) that was not it either.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

OK, can you tell I don't have enough to do at work today?

I figured it out! It's Cara Mia, over on Fish Bay. I was trying to remember why the house looked familiar, and I remembered Linne's wonderful trip report--she visited the house and took pictures. Link to the house:

Excellent, I knew I could count on y'all.

I think I had briefly looked at it for this June but it wasn't available for our dates.

It looks nice...XIG, how high up is it in Fish Bay?

It is not really that high up. It is just past Point Rendezvous before you drop into Fish Bay, so technically it is Rendezvous.
