where to wait in STT airport (arrivals?)
where to wait in STT airport (arrivals?)
Hi guys!
Another question:
My mother-in-law will be arriving almost two hours before us to STT - we'll be meeting her in the airport. I'm always in too much of a hurry to get the heck into a taxi when I arrive, so I've never noticed whether there's a comfortable place to sit and wait in the airport after arrival.
She's NOT a drinker (imagine that!), so a bar won't do it - a quiet place to sit and read would be ideal.
Thanks for suggestions....

I remember asking this same question last June. We waited for the last two in our group at the tables near the bar/food/baggage claim area. 2 of us went outside for some air and waited on the benches just outside baggage claim. The last 2 found us outside and had already collected their luggage, we didnt even see them! It's a small place...no worries.
Caneel Bay and the Westin both maintain comfortable hospitality rooms at the airport - if you are staying at either of those ---- send her there for sure. If she is polite and asks in a nice friendly manner to rest for a bit in the AC it is likely they would welcome her anyway, guest or not. It is somewhat in their interest to impress a non guest with the idea they may well want to stay there on their next visit ! If she tells the Westin folks she is hoping to buy a timeshare while she is visiting she could receive some royal treatment.
