Just Hours Away

Hi!
Well we are just hours away from take off. Leaving from San Francisco bright and early tomorrow morning. Land in St. Thomas around 7:00 p.m. Staying at the Best Western for the night then off to St. John on Easter. Does anyone have a favorite spot to eat in St. Thomas? Thought maybe Wicked??? Hopefully the Ferry ride will have calmed down by then. Can't Wait! Write a trip report when we return.

Well I'd say it sounds like you're "Ready4Paradise"! We had good meals at Glady's cafe (not sure if she serves dinner or not) and The Greenhouse. Have an awesome time!

Actually, the Best Western has a great out door bar right on the beach and they have pretty decent food. We stay there usually the night before getting St. John. You will be tired too after all day traveling.

Hi!
Well we were suppose to be getting close to St. Thomas right now. We went to take off this morning and the rutter on the plane went out, so back to the terminal to find out that they didn't have any other aircraft to replace it. So then we have to get off the plane and go stand in a line with the other 250 people on the plane for 3 1/2 hours to try to get on other flights. We couldn't get on a flight today because every airline company and every airport around us was over sold. Spring Break and Easter did us in. So now we will try this again very early tomorrow morning and hope and pray that we will be on St. John tomorrow night. Wish us luck, prayers are good too!

P.S.

The people at the Best Western in St. Thomas were very nice and didn't charge us for the 2 rooms that we had reserved for tonight. That was really great for them to do that.
