Thanks for posting this, Lex. I see he has a number of children and grandchildren. Have they been running the bar in recent years?

Lex, Fred was before my island time. I heard a bit about him from some rascals over at Island Blues one night, and all of it was good. It's always sad when an icon dies. I'm sorry for his family & friends.

I first meet Fred many years ago, somewhere around the 1970's. I was walking into Fred's Bar and Grill and there was Fred killing a rat on the steps with a big rock. YUCK! :lol: That was a sight I will never forget! Rest in peace Fred.
