An Inconvenient Truth

Post by Pete (Mr. Marcia) »

Politics and one's feelings about Al Gore aside, there was an interesting portion of this interesting movie about coral bleaching. I didn't really understand the problem until I saw the footage in the movie.

As a STJ lover, you might want to check it out for yourself.

Coral bleeching report

Post by Bill in Va »

Hi there. There was a great article in the "St John Tradewinds" paper. Its the Dec 4-10th issue. I brought it home to keep. Don't know about the movie just what I have seen between last year and this year. Example water temp last year at this time at 60 feet was 84 degrees. This year at 58 feet it was 86 degrees. Yes I saw more dead coral. Not good from my stand point but I saw more fish this year. Some I have been looking for for 10 years. And some of the biggest lobsters ever...will be in my trip report...God bless...Bill
