Why is it than when I try to make a new Avatar, it gets rejected if it is any larger than 50x50 pixels?
I noticed that other forum members have larger ones.
Sometimes it is very hard to see some pictures that are that small.
Thanks!

If you keep to uploading a picture for your avatar, then you are stuck with 50 x 50 pixels. But I found out if you make yourself a small picture and put it on webshots, or whatever, then you can put a link in the avatar line in your profile and link to that picture... ta daaaa! Bigger avatar! :D

Hi sea-nile, mine is a larger one and it's from one of those photo websites (photobucket I think). And speaking of avatars, I really like FlaGeorge's new one; very nice. I never change mine, it's too much of a challenge for me. I love your new one too. Ali~

Thanks CaGirl - it works like a champ. We had a 1940's theme party for Steph and I got dressed up as Humphrey Bogart from Casablanca. That's my Rick Blaine imitation.

I immediately thought "James Bond". I am smitten with the classic Bond.

Hey Sea-nile, I love your new one. George, you look devine! I have been thinking about doing something with mine as I have one of those tiny pictures that sea is taking about. Plus I'm tired of it. I'm with you Be, it's just soooooooo hard to figure out all this technical stuff.

I may have to wait til college girl comes home. :?

X- The way I supersized was to upload a slightly larger pic to photobucket and then go to "Profile" here on the forum and use the "Link to offsite avatar" function...
