St John restaurants

Post by bigberg50 »

My wife and I will be celebrating our 35th anniversary at Caneel Bay this December.
I would appreciate recommendations for favorite restaurants, preferably with good wine lists.
Thanks

Tage was one of my favorites on our last visit. It has since changed chefs (maybe owners too) but still gets pretty consistent raves.

Love Asolare for the atmosphere, but didn't really love the food or the service.

The Stone Terrace is very very nice and has an award-winning wine list.

Congratulations on your anniversary!

In addition to Stone Terrace as already mentioned, Zozo's also has an excellent wine list AND the wines are not ridiculously overpriced. The food (Italian) is very good too.

Our favorite is definitely Zozo's. Great view and fantastic food. Cute bar upstairs. Two other restaurants that we enjoy are Chateau Bordeaux(breath taking views) and Stone Terrace (get the peppercorn tuna!).
Check out the website www.stjohnisland.com If you click on restaurants, they'll give you a whole list. Look up any restaurant you want to check out their menu's, photo's and some even have a wine list.
Happy Anniversary!

We've been to almost every restaurant in St. John, and the Lime Inn is our favorite. In fact, it may be our favorite restaurant on the planet. The wine list is actually pretty good - and the prices are just slightly more than they are in the liquor stores here in PA!

There is a current list, as of today anyway, at www.stjohntravelforum.com

I am going to Lime Inn tonight with friends.

My wife's favorite in Coral Bay is Aqua Bistro, but I like Island Blues better. And everyone likes Skinny Legs.
