Evening room service at Caneel?

I've been meaning to ask this question but I keep forgetting.

The past couple of times we've stayed at Caneel we've noticed staff delivering wicker hampers to some of the rooms at dinner time. I have not been able to get a good look at what's in them, but I know I have seen salads, shrimp cocktail, and chilled wine.

There's nothing in the room about evening room service, only breakfast and lunch. I poked around the concierge area last time but did not see anything there either. I guess I could have just asked at the desk but there were always other people there and I did not feel like waiting to ask about a service I was not going to use.

So, my questions are: Have any of you ever had evening room service at Caneel? What did you get in your basket? Was it tasty? Did it cost a small fortune? (I think I probably already know the answer to this one.) Satisfy my curiosity please!
