Secret Harbour Beach Resort question

Post by Grace »

We are planning to spend our last 2 days of vacation at Secret Harbour in STT in May. We would like to stay in one of the beachfront studios. Has anyone stayed in one of the studio apt? Details would be good.

Thanks in advance.

Grace

Stayed there last year for a week. Loved it, but there is nothing fancy about the studio rooms. If you want a place that is RIGHT on the water...50 feet to the ocean, clean and great coral for snorkling....this is the place for you.

Restaurant is great as well.

We have stayed in one of the beachfront apartments.
The room we had, needed a little renovation, but we loved to stay there. The view, the beach, the friendly people, a really nice place, Would stay there again!

Grace...thank you so much for asking this question. We're staying there a day before we get to STJ in May. We requested a studio & they gave us a beachfront studio. Looking forward to it. Thanks everyone for your responses.

Linne, was it a studio apt? They also have 1 bedroom apts. They are $50 more and we really don't plan on cooking. We want to be close to the beach and the east end.
Any more details about the room. Decent bed, clean, nice bath etc.

Thank you
Grace

Thank you for your response.

Were the beds comfortable? We would love to be right on the beach and water.
Be spending very little time in the room, but I was just curious how the room was compared to the 1 bedroom. Studio sounds okay.

Glad to hear about the restaurant.

Thanks again,
Grace

Hi Grace!

Yes, it was a studio apartment without a real kitchen. It was the one just beside Blue Moon. I have told a little about it in my TR, part 1. If you are used to a one-mattress bed, you will find the bed very fine, but I prefer a bed with two mattresses, so I didn’t really like it. But as I told, we liked to stay there; it was a big light room with a lovely terrace. Some mornings we made our breakfast at home, sometimes lunch too, we enjoy to sit on the terrace just ourselves.

Thanks Linne, we will only be there for 2 nights. I also like a 2 mattress bed. My interest in this resort was the fact it has a decent snorkel beach and it's located in the east end of the island. I thought it would be a good way to end our vacation at a resort. Maybe we won't feel so bad getting on that plane going home.
I appreciate your reply.
