trip report day 3
I was out of bed and on the patio with orange juice by 6am and ready to start the day. This was going to be our first beach day and I was ready. We cut up some yummy pineapple and made toast for breakfast.
We got everything together and headed for Mongoose Junction to pay a visit to Deli Grotto for picnic supplies. I love this place and their homemade bread is wonderful. We decided on Maho because we were lazy and had alot to carry to the beach. Its funny how you take less and less as the week goes by. We just hung out and snorkelled and lazed around on some mesh rafts we brought from home. We enjoyed our beach picnic, napped and people watched the rest of the day. We did some shopping in town and then went back to Bongo to enjoy the pool and hottub. We made time for this everyday. We would get a nice selection of breads, cheeses and olives from Starfish market and have us a little poolside snack each afternoon. We had dinner at the beach bar that evening. I like it beter for cocktails than dinner. We had fish sandwiches, fish and chips and nachoes. Everything was fine just not my favorite restaurant. We did try a limindacoconut and it was yummy. We went to bed fairly early to get ready for our powerboat trip with Captain Jordon on Caribbean Vibe.
I'll try to get in another installment this afternoon!

We are the same way--every day we get out of the sun in the afternoon and head back to the villa for a relaxing lunch on the deck. We get out of the sun when it is hottest, and enjoy the views from the house. A glass of wine, baguette (toasted, due to the humidity), some olives, and some cheese sounds perfect!
By the way, thanks for the explanation of the BB views in an earlier post--it's definitely back on our list!

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
