Cooking Blogs?

Post by Xislandgirl »

Does anyone visit any? I have found a few that I really enjoy but would love a few more to read daily.

Here are the ones that I read (1 is geared toward South Beach)

I have lots of food sites bookmarked. It's not a blog, but my favorite site is recipezaar.com. When I feel like something, that's where I head.

Tonight is was goulash soup. And for this past Christmas, the greatest prime rib I've ever made.

It's a great site.

www.smittenkitchen.com is a good one. And, it has GREAT photography.

For what it's worth, I really really vote Liamsaunt starts a food blog. She would be very successful, in my opinion. :)

I like chowhound but some of their boards are brutal. The Boston board is downright scary.

I know, MB, it's really great. Instead of "great" I should have said "you will ruin your keyboard for all the drooling you'll do over that site." :)

This is a great site if you love chocolate - his "chocolate idiot cake" has become one of my favorites, it's a really easy flourless, fudge-like cake. I've also made his chocolate sauce over ice cream, yum.

I also really like these food blogs - always something good in the archives, I especially like the japanese-inspired stuff at "cook almost anywhere". The photos are great too - beautiful and help to illustrate how to prepare everything...

This one is fun to read too, although I don't know if I've ever made any of the recipes: http://fireinmykitchen.blogspot.com/

This is a new one I found recently - a little more commercial, but fun:

Chowhound.com looks fun - will spend some time over there...!
