St. John Villa Help

Post by sn1121 »

I am planning a trip to St. John for the last week in April 2007 and have narrowed down villas to the following: Bay House, Aria, Cocolobo, Happy Moon, Oleander and Orion's Hill. I know there are several posts asking for help with choosing villas but I would appreciate any feedback available. We are renting a car and do not mind travelling around the island to get to beaches and restaurants. Travelling with me are my two sisters (all of us around 30 y/o), my mother and my soon to be born baby. Thanks for your help!

Bay House/Oleander

Post by Randy in MD »

We've stayed in Seabiscuit (neighbor of Bay House, and owned by the same folks) and in Orchid Villa (neighbor of Oleander with the exact same floor plan). Oleander has an outstanding view of Klein Bay and Ditliff Point and a pool that is warmed by the sun all day. It's close to other villas, yet seems very private. Bay House is less private, but has a great view over Coral Bay harbor and is within stumbling distance of Island Blues and Aqua Bistro. You can also walk to Skinnys and the Donkey Diner. I'm a big fan of Coral Bay and would stay at Bay House for that reason, but Oleander is a great looking villa with a killer view towards St. Croix, and of course it's closer to the amenities of Cruz Bay.
