Has anyone stayed at these Villas recently

Hello!

We are trying to pick a villa for our May trip. The two villas we are looking at are Unicorn and Pink Horses - has anyone stayed at either of these Villas recently? I saw some reviews but they were from 2003.

We used to stay at Unicorn every year. But, as it fell further and further into disrepair, we stayed elsewhere.

But, during our trip last May we noticed that they were doing extensive remodeling at Unicorn. Actually, they were gutting the place and reconfiguring the entire layout. We walked through it and were pretty impressed.

The point to be taken is that any reviews written prior to late 2007 aren't going to be relevant. It really is a brand new villa since the remodeling.

I believe Pink Horses was completed in 2006. It is on an acre of land with two other villas....St. John Livin' and Island Time are above it. I have not stayed there, but had a lengthy conversation with Christy at Book-It VI because we are considering it for a future trip. She said that the owners stay there often and have done everything right. They recently finished a lovely al fresco dining area. If you are interested, I would suggest calling Christy. She was very helpful and can answer any questions you may have...mia

Sunny---The owner of Villa Ellison posts on this Board occasionally---they just finished construction, I believe. Looks like a beautiful place. You might catch her attention if you do a separate post with Villa Ellison in the title.

We decided on Villa Ellison - It looks beautiful!
I am so excited. I wish we could go now. Hubby and I have been to St. John once and we have another couple going with us that have never been before - we look forward to showing them around our favorite places that we found last time!
