Thoughts/short report trip to BVIs
Thanks for the photos and report. We stayed on VG in October (also at Guavaberry) and the photos put me back there. I was so pleased and impressed by how together they have it a Guavaberry. Jeez, I do love the land/seascape there. I also love it at Top of the Baths. What a wonderful place to hang out.
We thought about getting to Anegada for a day, but were enjoying VG so much that we just never left. I would like to spend a few days there the next trip. I thoroughly relished the story about the island being out of gas. And I was even more delighted to learn that when the gas shipment finally arrives, it's fourteen 55 gallon drums. Fourteen!!! And the gas supply is replenished!

Lex, the best part is that the man filling the pump told me that in tourist season, they sometimes have to get two shipments per week. He said the fishing charter boats use most of it! Usually, just one shipment per week, though.Lex wrote:And I was even more delighted to learn that when the gas shipment finally arrives, it's fourteen 55 gallon drums. Fourteen!!! Yes, I would stay at the cottages again. McKenzie was great, the cottages were nice, and the location was great. Very good deal all around.
