The drive back to Cruz Bay from Coral Bay restaurants
We've never been to Coral Bay and would like to try a restaurant or two for dinner (Shipwreck Landing or Island Blues perhaps?). We're staying near Cruz Bay. What's the drive back to Cruz Bay like after dinner in Coral Bay? Is this something we should really attempt to do prior to dark or will we be okay as first-timers coming back in the dark?

Damn boy, you're my hero!!!Jorge wrote:In my opinion it depends on what part of yankeeland that you live as to what you are used to. Me myself, I live in redneckville where we dodge cows, deer, chickens and drunk rednecks stopped in the road spot lighting racoons at night is very common. We took Pia and Les out to Sweet Plantains last time and one person in our party refused to eat what they had. Les made a call to Ronnie's in Cruz at 8:45pm for a large pep to go. I made it across the mountain in 15 min. Yep, live a little to close to Charlotte Motor Speedway. signed: Ricky Jorgy

Martini girl-
Since you haven't been to Coral Bay yet, why not try going to Salt Pond (great beach) and then trying Shipwreck or Island Blues for lunch. This way you will be familiar with the roads on that side and maybe not so intimidated to go to dinner. We always stay on the Cruz Bay side but venture over to Salt Pond aleast once and go to Shipwreck ,Island blues or Skinny Legs for lunch. And yes, watch out for Ricky Jorgy AKA "The Bandit"
