What is on your desktop/screensaver?

Post by sea-nile »

What picture do you currently have on YOUR desktop?
This is mine at work:

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/sea-nile/2077567511/" title="BEST OF angel on color by jtmmrut, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2064/207 ... 8c41cb.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="BEST OF angel on color"></a>

I have a picture slideshow of my kids and of course STJ for my screensaver.

At home we all take turns. Currently we have a picture of my daughter and her car. I think I need to change it to an Island Holiday theme. 8)
Does anyone have such a picture?

I don't know how you show your screen saver on here...but mine is 2 palm trees. I asked permission from a forum member to use them and he said "sure"!

Hey Jay - small world. My wallpaper is from Virgin Gorda too, and the slideshow is from Europe too (Switzerland). Got a brand new computer with a 19 inch widescreen digital monitor so chose a wide shot. Looks awesome. The new Vista op system does a very cool variety of slide shows.

haha - even smaller world - I just got a brand new computer with a 20" inch widescreen :)

No Vista though - it's an iMac (got it a tad too soon for Leopard too).

I have Louis Beach, Barbuda. I haven't been there, I just thought it was an awesome picture. It's a change from having STJ as my desktop for a couple of years.

Hubby has a picture of our grandchildren, and when I get a new nice pic of them, I will put it on instead.

I change mine every few weeks... these are the most common:

1. Currrent- Sunrise peeking thru huge pine tree branches and highlighted by very thick wisps off fog along Ephraim's Cove off of Winnisquam Lake in NH.

2. A stolen pic (from this forum!) of a lone jellyfish highlighted in pink along it's edges floating in several shades of blue water. Man I love that photo.

3. Another stolen pic (also from this wonderful gallery we call the forum) of a lone sea turtle in warm browns/whites/yellows just about to break the surface that it's image is also reflected on in the blueblueblue water. Love the color contrast.

Seriously- you guys all take awesome pictures and I steal them for my desktop wallpaper all the time. It's a compliment to all who take the time to photograph and then take the time to share with us less techy people.
