"Best" Restaurants and Bars in Google Earth

Post by sherban »

Ok, I'm ready to do another round of STJ placemerks for Google Earth, this time how about we do "Best Bars and Restaurants"? Ya'll know the routine...you tell me where the places are, we use photos to clarify questions, then I add pushpins to a file that I upload to the internet once we are done...and I post a link to the internet file so everyone can use it.

Ok, I've got Chateau Bordeaux, Vie's, 4 Coral bay restaurants, let's do Cruz and "get it done"

Let's do it....Cheers-

First, are these ones (Tap, Beach, Joe's) all correct?
Second, where is Woody's and Zozo's and others??

Hey sherban

Do you see the pathway that cuts across the beach leading toward a building with a red roof?
It's to the right of the little camera icon.
Vie's is at the top left edge of that clump of trees on the right side of the road, directly across from the path entrance.

Move a little to the left, closer to the road and you're there. 8)

At the bottom of the picture where the almost parallel building are...that's Cocolobo Plaza where Aqua Bistro is located and also Big Belly Deli (is that the name of it....it used to be Mosquito Bites). Going up the road on the right next to the water is Island Blues. Continue up and take a right at the ball field and the first roof on the left is a bulding that houses that West Indian place that I can't think of the name of right off the top of my head and also Donkey Diner. (there's a white building across the street that points right at it). Skinny's is the white roof at the left edge of the picture (third white roof past the ball field on the right).

Donkey Diner is right but not Skinny's. You've got it on the left side of the road. Skinny's is on the right side of the road as you are driving east. It's the 3rd white roof. It's kind of a funny shaped building kind of across the street from the red orange roofed building. Try it again. :D

Close but not quite. Move the pin over to the left one building. See the parking pad (you can squeeze 3 Jeeps) in front of the building?
