I am here in PVD for a meeting that was scheduled for tonight. The meeting was postponed and I don't know how or when I will get home. Traffic outside my hotel room window is moving at about 3 MPH.
Anyone ant to get together tonigh to look at STJ photos. Oh yeah, how would we get anywhere??????
Aw, jeez, Maryanne! Please post when she gets there!!!!!!!
I told a guy from Exeter, NH who placed an order today that I was homesick for my little town. Now, not so much.
Sorry, everyone. Please stay home and safe.

It wasn't snowing yet when I left work, but the schools and daycare were all closing at 1:00, so I had to go. It was crazy traffic-wise on the way home - rush hour in the early afternoon.
I'm originally from upstate NY and this is bad even by those standards! If these weather patterns continue, it's going to be a LONG winter. When will it be March already???
Lived the first 22 years of my life in MA and moved to MD..don't miss all that stuff. We get snow but usually not to bad & school is always cancelled at the first flake so I just veg & read the forum
Good luck you guys,we slipped by this storm & maybe Sunday's also
Actually, Ruth, aside from the travel, it's been really lovely. No traffic on Fountain Street. Just snow falling into the river. I've been opening the back door just to hear the sound of the quiet. The house is absolutely silent.
Took me two and a half hours to get home today from work, nine miles. I kept thinking about the person behind me having to stare at my "I'd rather be on St. John" license plate frame saying to himself, "Me Too".
Great images. Maryanne, we might require some neighborhood photos tomorrow.
How about the whole family in front of your favorite neighbor's house? That would be fun.

I will take some pictures, though. It's really beautiful.
Caitlin's in Wellesley now. 4 hours and counting.
She says that little cars with no four-wheel drive are unable to move and people are having to get out and push cars out of the way to get by. Some man with a megaphone was in a car behind her and yelling at her to get out and push. Little 100-pound Caitlin.
