Molly's Cottage - Chocolate Hole

Post by augie »

Does anyone know anything about this villa?

It's rented by Carefree Getaways, but I have not been able to find a single reference to it by searching in various forums.

My guess is that it has either been renamed, or only recently put on the rental market. The pictures lead me to believe that it's not a new place.

Ring any bells?

I hear it rents really well. Might be one of those Best-Kept Secret types of things. Maybe a lot of repeats who aren't spreading the good word!

I've been looking for info on this one as well.

Looks nice and simple - and the price is right. If you do find anything, let us know.

I am curious about what you are looking for. We stayed at Altamira--it is a little bit fruther of a drive (about 10 minutes) on boatman point. It has great views, a hot tub, a pool, a nice big kitchen, an outdoor shower, and is well stocked. It does not have AC. It does cost a little bit more than Molly's Cottage.

I would stay there again but the bedrooms are under different roofs. We went with our 13 and 17 year old sons and I had a real problem with them being in the "pod".

Other than that it was perfect.

My brother and SIL will be staying at Molly's Cottage for some of the time that my wife and I will be on STJ in November.

I was just looking for any first hand information from someone who had been there - you know - is it well kept, how are the views, is it near dawn to dusk construction, anything helpful like that.

It is just curious that I haven't been able to find ANY reviews.
