we leave on Thursday for a small adventure ...and we are so looking forward to it. So I keep checking the weather forecast and the stupid "shower" icons are driving me crazy! I know better, but still...

so I need a 12 step plan to "back away from weather.com".....

Even if it says showers, we'll get sun, right? LOL I know how stupid that sounds.....but those stupid icons drive me crazy!

Yeah, you need to quit worrying. It only rains for a short time. When it rains you can still enjoy the beaches--just get in the water. After the shower is over grab your towel and lie on the beach, in the sun.

I have read that it always says "chance of showers" in St. John.

Come on down - the weather is beautiful right now

I don't know what it has been saying for this week but so far only a 10 min shower today and that has been it for the entire week

OMG, yes, ignore the stupid weather forecast.
It's been fabulous here. Nice breeze, mild, just great. We haven't turned our A/C on in at least two or three weeks. We had a brief shower this afternoon, but it didn't last very long. It's great!

The little shower icons are a lot more palatable than the little flurry icons that you're probably seeing at home.

Don't stress - the weather will be fine. Hurricane season is officially over - you might catch a shower or 2 (We always get rained on at Cinnamon Beach).
