Pia, maybe you would know the answer to this one -
We are considering a villa that does not have wifi and wondered does Donkey Diner charge for there wifi? If you take your laptop there early in the AM would you be able to use is outside on the picnic table before they open?

The Diney Wi-Fi
We used it twice while we are there as our villa did not have internet (my one fault with Bayview).
As I remember it's actually "hard wired" with Ethernet cords in the three or 4 booths at least. There is a coffee can for donations to help defray the cost of the service.
For locals it is free, for customers they would like you to contribute a couple of bucks. Out though that was as long as you were eating there your contribution could be modest, if you just stopped in to use their internet it would seem that you would up the ante.
We had pizza there one night and breakfast two or three times last trip. Also the best T-Shirts on the Island and NPR in the morning from the station based at UVA (University of Virginia) as the owner hails from VA..
