To Kellyanna - sunscreen (and bruises)

Post by Pia »

Hey girlfriend

I was just wondering how the Colorscience is working for you - hopefully good (and wanted to know how you are doing  )

Pia,
I just received your message on my phone as we returned home. Thank you for your kindness. I am truly touched. Hope your puppy is better and sorry we didn't see you. I'm still sore and new bruises are appearing, but feeling better everyday. When I begin feeling sorry for myself, I think about how much worse the outcome could have been.

The Colorscience sunscreen is incredible. It provides a nice finish to my bare face without the greasy properties of a traditional sunscreen. I tested it at a tennis tournament before our trip and loved it. Very compact and easy to use. At home, it is either in my purse or my tennis bag. Will be ordering more.

Again, thank you for the recommendation and checking on me.

Hey Kellyanna

Glad to know everything is working out for you - for your bruises apply a product called Arnica (a good brand is Boiron) and it comes in gell or ointment. It is all natural and will cut down the time of healing by about 50% to 75% - great product and you can buy it at any drug store :)

Kellyanna - I second the arnica gel! If you can get the arnica homeopathic remedy at a health store (i.e. Whole Foods), it works REALLY well.

I broke my leg on a Sunday and didn't go to the doctor till the next day (thought I tore an acl) and never took any asprin or anything because I had taken arnica.

I use the gel on myself and Rudy (my boxer with a bum knee) alot and it helps so much.

p.s. so where's the trip report????

I third Arnica! When we were down in Feb, our toddler had an ugly bump right in the middle of his forehead, a pre-trip accident.

The hostess at Morgan's Mango told us about it and I went to the drugstore the next day. I do think it speeds up the process.

Wow, this thread is so timely for me! I have a huge bruise on my leg right now. Off to the drugstore...
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

I'm going to look for Arnica online now. Have been to 4 pharmacies in my area...And no health food stores around. Sounds like Arnica is a must have. Thanks everyone for sharing!
