1 day trip to St. Croix??

Is this doable? We will be on St. John for the week but I've never been to St. Croix. Any other way to get there besides sea plane from St. Thomas? Thanks.

Sorry but no - the seaplane is the best way to go but it is (imo) expensive for just a day as there will be so much to do

You can also fly with Cape Air from STT to STX.

We used Cape Air in July. Very easy. No much waiting.
But still- one day is not much if you want to experience STX.

There is also a ferry running now as well but I think the ride could get rough depending on the winds. Its open seas.

I do not believe the ferry is running right now - I'll try to find out but I wouldn't recommend it as it takes approx 1 1/2 hours each way and can be quite rough.
