I finally felt cold this morning for the first time this Fall. I was walking the dog in a drizzle before dawn and it was about 50 degrees. It was the first time this Fall I thought, "Wow, I'd like to be warm."
50 in central PA too and my 2 year old refused to wear a sweatshirt this morning. I was "that mom" dropping him off at daycare, the mom who doesn't have the energy to force him to be warm.
Cold and rainy in KY, too. I just heard my furnace come on.
RickG - Hope you have a great trip and enjoy your day with Capt. John. We just booked him for a day in April, and I can't wait.
I'm also looking forward to your trip report. You are obviously a very experienced STJ traveller, and I've enjoyed reading all your tips, etc. that you share with everyone.
I don't post much, but this is a great forum. Good advice and friendly people.
When the end of the world comes, I want to be in Kentucky, because everything there happens 20 years after it happens anywhere else. – Mark Twain
I'm freezing here in Tennessee. The only consolation is that it's probably much colder in Michigan, which is where I left (stopping briefly in Ohio on the way) to come here and escape the cold. I do believe I'm becoming a cold-weather wimp.
it is actually cooler here in S. Fl today too.
granted 70's is not cold but........we are expecting 2 days of rain AT least some parts of S. Fl are.......
Sometimes I do miss the seasons though.....not the ice and scraping it off my car but the leaves changing
There's no $ sign on a peace of mind, this I've come to know
