Thanks-Now this

Thanks for all the great replys confirming what I figured was the fair way to split cost.
Now
I have decided on Monte Bay villa and was wondering if anyone had any first hand knowledge.I have always liked it but never wanted a villa with a caretaker, but now he's gone and I thought we would give it a try.Of course it is offered thru Carribeanvilla.com and have only used them once about 5 years ago and it was not the best experience we have ever had.Besides the 5% fee,is there any other quirks I should look out for with them?
We've been going to SJ for 11 years but for some reason with trip I feel like a newbie. It's great to bounce this questions off the board.
Thanks,
Mike

With Caribbean Villas, make certain you get the on-island contact phone numbers. The folks in Maine can't get you a new blender!

We spent 10 days at Monte Bay. We stayed at a number of different villas over the years and this is our favorite! Two equal bedrooms off the great room each with their own small deck and amazing view and a large master off the pool deck. The two upstairs bedrooms have private baths and outdoor showers. The views from the bedrooms (actually all the rooms) is fantastic. The upstairs patio is amazing. One important note, they advertise this to be a 4 bedroom villa, but the 4th bedroom is actually a small windowless room off the pool that may be suitable for a teenager, but compared to the other bedrooms, you wouldn't want to saddle anyone with this one.
