Growing up in Virginia, VaBeach was my first beach experience...I thought it was perfect...then I started my way south and discovered the Outer Banks, Figure 8 Island, Myrtle Beach,Pawley's Island....when I first saw pictures from St John I thought they had been touched up, nothing could be that beautiful...then I made the trip, and now I'm a true believer. There's just no other place for me.

Yes, once you go to STJ, no place will ever be as wonderful in the same way that STJ is!

We wanted to go to a beautiful destination other than STJ for our next trip in March and had a most difficult time finding some place that is as lush, pristine and beautiful... we decided to go to Kauai - and I am sure it will be beautiful - but I already know, their beaches can NOT COMPARE to STJ's!!!!

I have been a Jersey Shore girl my whole life - never living more than 5 minutes from the beach - ever. The beach we go to - Seven Presidents beach is a county park which is actually magnificently maintained! It is lovely with beautiful flowers & landscaping, clean bathrooms, etc. It is a big expansive beach with lots of families, freckled with many many umbrellas of all colors, shapes & sizes...it is truly beautiful- but in the NORTHEAST BEACH WAY - not the CARIBBEAN TROPICAL PARADISE WAY ;-).

It is really nice that there are many varieties of beautiful in the world! We will always go back to St. John for all of the many reasons all of you are well aware of- but it is certainly fun and exciting to explore new places too!

Enjoy!
Peace,

Lisa
