New Red Hook terminal open?

Frank Barnako reports on his blog that the "Urman Victor Fredericks Marine Terminal" in Red Hook is now open.

Any first-person reports on how this is working out and whether it effects the car barge?

Went thru there last Sat. looked nice didn't seem to efect the car barge area infact it might help with the way they have the parking lot layed out traffic seems to move better.

Curious as to why you would think it would affect the car barge. They have separate entrances and what appears to be an almost workable system. Looks to me like the taxis are using two areas.

Thanks waterguy and Ron. I'm working from ignorance here, since I've been using the CA ferry the last year. We'll be using the car barge at the end of the month and I was wondering if there was any excitement to worry about. Thanks!
