We (three couples) will be there November 3 - 10.

RickG - You really need to extend your stay by a few days - think how many new friends you could meet if you stay until the 5th!

SOTB - The girls in our group would love to meet all of you one night for drinks!

We don't hit STJ until Nov 15th. Looks like once again we'll miss ALL the fun!

You can drink at the beach, while driving, playing in the water, while walking around town, in restaurats, and certainly in bars. I would have to be in a full blown run to not be able to have a drink in my hand.
Not having time for a hangover does not equal not drinking! I did my fair share for sure. Try to say that after 4 painkillers! No time to be hungover when the next party is calling out to ya

I'm going too early to catch the fun, but I will try to save some fun for you when we depart.

Also, re: hangovers. Alka Seltzer makes a hangover medicine that works wonders. It's called Alka Seltzer morning relief, and I swear by it. Thanks for reminding me to take some with me.

Lulu, did you miss the thread about the hangover cures? I will try to find it and bump it up. I think some of our ideas were even written up in one of the local papers/websites!

I did miss it, but I went there and added my commentary!

Thanks for the reminder to pack some or it could've been disaster. Although maybe not, because hair of the dog usually fixes everything, and I suspect that will be the plan for the week! (I just haven't figured out how to drink at my desk without getting caught. LOL)

When I was in college, I had this weekly meeting that I hated to attend. After I turned 21, I'd fill a travel mug with cheap vodka and OJ and sit there and drink a giant screwdriver the whole time. So much more pleasant that way!

I am so sad that I'm going to miss the little gathering you all planned in November.

I picked a college in Delaware. Back then the drinking age there was 18. We drank el cheapo vodka and koolaide. I wish I could be there in November too.

Count on us for the 28! No forum shirts, but I'll likely be in my 'Greetings'' shirt. Mrs B will look fabulous as usual.

Okay, MrB, I got your back. I read up on some "techniques" that can help you with this: Slow, controlled breathing; Train your mind to think of something else; practice some relaxation techniques; and they say if you squeeze the....oh, wait, premature exuberance...... Never mind. My bad.

Well, heck, most of the techniques still apply (just forget about that last one... )

Hi! Does anyone remember me? October 28 you'll see Brad and me at the Beach Bar. The trip is coming up so quickly and we are so excited!

Sorry I haven't been on the Forum. We've moved, I started tennis and am on a league now...And I am going back to work (The company I left when I had lil' kellyanna found out where I moved and called me--very flattering).

Big hug!
