We always go to STJ in the off-season because we like to go when it isn't crowded.

We were there on Memorial day this year and it did not feel crowded to me.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

I've only ever gone in May, but Mem Day weekend in '05 didn't feel any more crowded to me.

I was there over Memorial day weekend in 2005, but I thought it was more crowded this year the second week of June. Maybe it is just getting more crowded each year.

We were on St John the past 2 Memorial Day weekends and didn't find it crowded at all.

Memorial Day weekend is great. Watch the schedule for Foxy's Wooden Boat Regatta. If you can get over to JVD the day before the race it's quite a party.
