Kenny Chesney fans

Post by sea-nile »

Country Thunder was going on 3 miles from my house.
I couldn't get anyone to go there to see Kenny at 8 pm last night.
I didn't have tickets but thought I'd just go listen from the road. At about 7:55 my husband decides he will take a ride over there with me. We know a family that lives close to the festival grounds so we see them sitting outside and decide to see if we can park there.
They gave us wristbands and we got in to see the whole show! It was great! I'm not much of a Country Music fan, but this was fun and very unexpected! :D

Wow, lucky you!! (I'm counting the days for this weekend's concert in Foxboro, MA.) They repeated KC on 60 minutes last night, the one with the STJ pics and the exec office behind Woody's. Kenny says he sells "fun". When most people think "country" they think of the old twangier country style music. The new stuff is so much more rockin. In any event, it's hard to love STJ and not love his islandy-themed music, IMO. Glad you had such a great time! Ali~

I was able to get real close at the side of the stage. I was happy that I remembered my camera, I took it out to take pictures and dead battery!!
Oh well.

Hey, Terese, that's great! Glad you were able to get in and that you enjoyed the show. It's lots of fun. I'm headed to Boston this weekend - we've got pretty good seats, and it will be nice to get away for the weekend.
