Anyone ever used eastwest catering for either provisioning or a holiday meal? I am considering either thanksgiving dinner or perhaps just a minor provisioning. Would love any feedback. I think they might be fairly new, but it could be I just heard of them.

East West Catering
Hi...we used them this past April for villa provisioning. Although the quality of the food was good, what you got for the price was limited (small).
For example, when we ordered coffee, I expected a can. We received a small "take out" container.
I sent a small grocery list along and they forgot the salsa with my chips and when I pointed it out, she got very defensive and blamed me. When I pulled out my sheet, it was there...it was their error.
Understanding the convenience and price of provisioning, there are other's that I would consider before using EastWest again.

FF - I'd suggest Laura from Passion Fruit Chefs for some provisioning and a meal. They helped us last year with the initial night's provisioning and a number of meals thru the 10 day stay. On meal nights, they would bring out some extra provisions for us (ice, bread, cokes, sandwich meats, etc.) to save us a trip to the store. Just had to call them in the a.m. to let them know what we needed. Their cooking was excellent and more to my tastes (Texas boy!) than that French fru-fru type of cooking. Of course, our wedding night was a bit fancy with the lobster stuffed with Imperial crab which was very tasty...and I'm not a fan of lobster (the wife is). Just call and talk to her so she can get a feel for what you want and what you'd like. They were very friendly and by the end of the week, just friends.

Hey
Hey FF
As far as stocking up goes, we have a timeshare so when we use it we drop off the kids let them hit the pool and the two of us go to the local store and stock up ourselves. Realize its not much of a date but we can always find a bar and grab a quick cocktail before we head back. Gotta love adult time!!!!!!!!
