St. John Historical Society Event March 8th

Just want to let people know that the St. John Historical Society is having an event, "Night of the Museum - A One Night Display of Artifacts from St. John Personal Collections: Prehistory to Present day” on March 8th, 5:30 - 8:00pm at the Westin Grand Ballroom. Suggested donation $25.00 at the door. Light hors d' oeuvres, a cash bar, raffle prizes and silent auction. Don't miss this great event. Sounds great. I notice that suggested dress is "Island Fancy." I know what "Northwoods Wisconsin Fancy" looks like. A little help with "Island Fancy," please.

We'll be there. It looks like a nice event and I'm looking forward to supporting the St John Historical Society.

Island Fancy means no t-shirts, or halter tops, although a nice pair of shorts are ok. No flip flops. No need for jackets or ties. People who enjoy dressing up can, but it is not necessary. Islandy colors and prints are encouraged.
