Another Ticker Check to keep me going in -15 WCF

It's Thursday at least, but I need to get out of my warm bed along with my dreamy thoughts of being on St. John. The windows all have frost on the inside, I can hear the cold wind blow out there, I have to get up, get showered, and head out into it....so I need a ticker check to give me motivation

Oh I hear you!!! Shoveled AGAIN this morning, seems to be a 4 times a day job these days! BUT...less than a week and I'll be there!!!!!

Mine is a bit longer than yours, however it is still an inspiration when the thermometer read -23* without the windchill factored in this morning !

I have a countdown on my phone, but it's always fun to see it here.

I also have a weather app on my phone with 2 locations. My hometown of Muskegon, MI (where it is blowing up a big storm today) and Cruz Bay (where it is sunny and warm). If I'm not happy with the local weather I just look at the Cruz Bay weather and leave it on my phone screen!

Hey Michigancouple...my daughter just moved to North Muskegon from southern Indiana....she's adjusting to lots of snow after NO snow for years!

I can sympathize with you Pam! I was born and raised in Maine, only been in KC for work since 2002. It can get down to -23 here too, but the thing is next week it will be 56 degrees (that's actually what the forecast is)! So we only get snippets of extreme cold, you guys in Maine have winter drag on for months. My dad still lives downeast...Hancock County, wicked cold up there, Ayuh
