Love City Triathlon?

We are planning on staying in Cruz Bay over Labor Day weekend prior to going to a villa....was wondering if the triathlon is on for 2014 and how it might affect our visit? Doesn't sound like it is a huge event but was going to play "resort roulette" and wait for prices (hopefully at Gallows Point) to go down before booking; am wondering if I should book sooner rather than later...

You can always book with Gallows now (at their lowest summer rates - see website below). And, when you book, you can request that if you notice any specials advertised on their website afterwards, that you can call and get the lower rate. They will note that in your reservation. I have stayed there annually for the past 5 years (ususally in early Dec. or mid November), and they have always accomodated my request. They won't do it automatically - you need to check their website under "specials" regularily and then call.
