Islands magazine

Post by DonnaM »

I'm not sure who their fact checker is but there are two questionable items in the May issue. Under the heading, "Wildest Walks", they say that "the Reef Bay Trail is beautiful and downhill all the way. It ends at a beach where a boat will pick you up for just a few bucks". Are they referring to the VINP guided tour? I can just see some poor hiker sitting on the beach waiting for a boat to pick them up.
Later in the issue, they state that "The Grenadines is the only country in the Caribbean where petroglyphs have been found". I'm starting to wonder if any of their writers have actually been to STJ!

Crazy. And a wee bit irresponsible. I just love the image of the forlorn hiker at Reef Bay wondering if the little boat will ever appear. :(
