Week before Xmas

Just curious about the weather the wk before Xmas. Also any suggestions for a villa for 2 people. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

We stayed over Christmas week a couple of years ago and the weather was great ... although the beaches were a bit crowded. Stayed at Serendip and it was perfect (beautiful views and nice breeze ... did not need AC).

We have been on island a few times in the week before Christmas, and if you decide to go then, do make a point of catching the wonderful annual performances of the St. John Singers. They perform once in Cruz Bay, at the Nazareth Lutheran Church, and then (usually a few days later) at the Emmaus Moravian Church in Coral Bay. We especially prefer the latter venue; the structure is amazing, and the performance (with additional performances by invited guest musicians) is simply as good as it gets.

USVIs get what is called Christmas winds during December and January. Weather will be fine but it could be windy for days at a time.

Having stayed at CV (not this particular unit) the location is great! Also, I just returned from a week at Villa Jumbie, if you are interested in Coral Bay. IMHO, this villa was PERFECT in every way for 2 people. The view, the pool, the kitchen....10+. it is available on VRBO. I dont think I will every stay anywhere else on the island...
